Soccer and Master Mi, A Great Combination.

Last weekend was awesome because besides celebrating Mother's Day, it was a day where most soccer fans would remember

Manchester City was crowned champions of the Barclays Premier League, winning their first title in 44 years (oops! sorry Man United fans but luck wasn't on your team's side this time around :p ) 

The match was unexceptionally astonishing where Manchester City managed to secure their top spot in dramatic fashion- Just when all of us thought it was over for Man City they stroked back by scoring twice in injuring time! (Goal!!!)

Yup, the match was great (for non- Man United fans especially). But, what made watching the match even better was none other than munching on packets of snacks. :D

2. Add ice cream onto your Master Mi rice cracker and taste how crunchy this snack can be topped with a scoop of ice cream! (Yums!)

3. Try this! spread tomato based pasta on your cheddar flavoured Master Mi rice cracker! It will taste like... Pizza and it's good!

While we are all hyped up over Marvel's The Avengers, have you ever thought that you yourself could easily be a superhero (without the super duper power and skills) too? How?

By playing a significant role in saving the environment = saving the planet :)

Few tips on being a hero: 

1.     Ride- Sharing. Buddy up for your daily commute. It does make a sizeable difference in carbon emissions! 

2.     Hand-me-down/ swap clothes. Share to produce less waste. Why throw your clothes away when they are still wearable. Kids often get the hand-me-down clothes from siblings but as grown ups, they are normally reluctant to swap "old" clothes with others. Did you know that the 'in' thing now is Share not Own.

3.     Never keep the tap running- Use less water while brushing teeth or taking a shower. Off the tap when not in use. Make sure to off the water tap completely and not leave the water dripping. 

4.     Repair or Transform. Unlike the olden days where things are fixed when they are broken, people nowadays just chuck away these broken stuff. While some could be irreparable, take out parts that can be utilized or transform the unwanted items into something new! Go wild and crazy with your creativity!

5.     Plant a Tree- It's more than aesthetic appeal. By planting a tree helps the environment in many ways such as prevent soil loss, create shade and help recycle water too!

There are many more ways to be a hero but what’s better than saving the environment? J
